Abstract:
The effects of additive on ferronickel enrichment from serpentine by reduction roasting and magnetic separation were investigated. The results show that nickel and iron grade in magnetic separation concentrate is 5.99% and 53.84% respectively with recovery of 87.59% and 72.09% respectively under the optimum conditions including dosage of sulfate and carbonate both of 15%, reduction temperature of 1 100 ℃, reduction time of 120 min, and magnetic separation with magnetic field intensity of 79.62 kA/m.
