Abstract:
Most alkaline substances contained in one uranium ore were removed firstly with hydrochloric acid. After removal of alkaline minerals, uranium ore was leached by microbial sulfuric acidic tank leaching process. The results show that uranium in uranium ore with larger grain size (>5 mm) is hard to be extracted. Uranium recovery rate of 91.2% can be obtained after removal of larger sized grains and at least 65% of alkaline substances.
