Abstract:
One refractory gold ore was first treated in the atmosphere with argon gas at a high temperature to remove arsenic and sulfur was removed from the residue obtained. The effects of technological parameters on dearsenization and desulfurization were investigated. The results show that 98% of arsenic from the ore is removed in the form of As2O3 and 26% of sulfur is removed under the optimum conditions including temperature of 600 ℃, time of 2 h, and argon flow rate of 200 mL/min. The sulfur removal rate is 97% under the optimum conditions including temperature of 650 ℃, time of 2 h, and oxygen flow rate of 200 mL/min.
