Abstract:
Water-soluble zinc (WSZ) was recovered from direct leaching residue (DLR) of zinc concentrate by multi-stage countercurrent washing process with membrane filter press. The results show that the recovery of WSZ could be reduced from 4.98% to 0.60% in continuous seven experiment periods under the conditions of dosage of clear water accounting for 30% of weight of wet DLR and three-stage countercurrent washing process. The washing solution with high concentration of WSZ can return to leaching solution preparation system without affecting water balance in the whole process.
