| Abstract: |
| The technology of high electric current density electrolysis for copper was theoretically analyzed. Two case studies were described. The investment cost, power consumption and anodic passivation were selectively analyzed. The plant practice shows that an intensified electrolysis in core, this technology has a commercialization prospect in copper, zinc, lead, and nickel industry with advantages of high productivity, high electric current efficiency, and low energy consumption. |
