Abstract:
Complex tetrahedrite concentrates with high Pb-Zn bearing are rich in copper, silver, as well as valuable metals such as lead, zinc, antimony. Based on comparing the existing similar processes scheme and test verification, the following comprehensive process was recommended to recover valuable element, i.e., half-sulfating roasting, leaching copper and zinc with sulfuric acid, leaching silver and antimony with hydrochloric acid and chlorine salt, oxidizing leaching gold with sodium hypochlorite, lead recovery via ammonium carbonate transformation. The results of verification experiment show that total recovery rate of copper, zinc and lead is 95% above, total recovery rate of silver, gold and antimony is 98%, 94% and 90% above respectively. This process is easy to be commercialized as most of its operating units have been practiced in industry.
