Abstract:
Tantalum, niobium and zirconium enriched slag was obtained from waste superalloy powder by processes of oxidation acid leaching, alkali roasting and water leaching. Tantalum pentoxide is prepared from this slag by processes of step-by-step leaching, extraction separation, ion exchange, and precipitating with sodium hydroxide. The results show that the prepared tantalum pentoxide can meet the requirement of national standard of YS/T427-2000.
