Abstract:
A new technology to pre-separate Pb-Sb from jamesonite was introduced. Lead and antimony were separated by wet separation with sodium sulfide, follows by antimony smelting by pyrometallurgical process. The effects of factors on antimony leaching by sodium sulfide were investigated. Complex antimony salt was synthesized from sodium sulfantimonate by sulfate and volatilized to produce Sb2O3. The results show that antimony leaching rate is 96.12%, recovery rate of antimony in transformation and volatilization stage is 99.96% and 99.05% respectively, and recovery rate of antimony in whole process is 95.17%.
