Abstract:
      Reconstruction design of fluidized bed roaster of 200 kt/a acid making system from pyrite was introduced. The transformations of slag discharge hole, fluidized bed areas, air distribution system, and feeding method were elaborated. The results show that a series problems are addressed after reconstruction including big fluctuation of fluidized bed’s temperature and pressure of furnace bottom, high sulfur content in slag, and severe operating environment.
