Abstract:
The gas-liquid two phase flow in carbonation reactor of calcified residue was numerically simulated by commercial software packaged as ANSYS13.0/Fluent and compared with water model experiment date. The results show that simulation results of gas distribution and simulation date of reactor’s change tendency on average gas holdup are in accordance with test data. It is proved to be feasible to apply Eulerian-Eulerian Model simulation to analyze macroscopic flow behavior of reactor. This result provides reference value for design and application of carbonation reactor.
