Effect of Fe and Sn Doping on Performance of Cerium Oxide Anti-ultraviolet Film

Abstract:
      Cerium oxide with coating of anti-UV light was produced by Cross Coating Method. The effects of Fe and Sn doping on film surface, acid resistance and VIS-UV transmittance of cerium oxide were investigated. The results show that VIS transmittance of films were small and UV transmittance was low with increase of doping amount of Fe and Sn in sol of CeO2. The optimum doping amount of iron and tin is 1% and 3% respectively. Mixed doping has better acid resistance.
