Abstract:
Valuable metals were recovered from multi-component metal powder (MMP) of waste printed circuit boards in alkaline oxide melt system of Na2CO3-NaOH-NaNO3. The effects of mass ratio of Na2CO3-NaOH, smelting temperature and time, mass ratio of alkaline medium-MMP on valuable metal extraction were investigated. The results show that composition of molten salt and optimum conditions include mass ratio of Na2CO3-NaOH of 5.3∶16, smelting temperature of 700 ℃, smelting time of 40 min, and mass ratio of alkaline medium-MMP of 5∶1. The transforming rate of tin, zinc, aluminum, and lead are 84.55%, 100%, 93.71%, and 73.72%, respectively. Copper is enriched in slag in form of CuO.
