Abstract:
Oxidization treatment of zinc sulfate solution bearing high cobalt by sodium persufate was studied. The results show that cobalt precipitation rate is 99.8% under the optimum conditions including dosage of Na2S2O8 of four times of theory value, pH value of 4.0, temperature of 80 ℃, and reacting time of 120 min. The main phase of precipitation is CoO(OH). The residual solution can be used for zinc electrolysis after removal of cadmium and nickel.
