| Abstract: |
| Heavy metal ions and chemical oxygen demand (COD) in molybdenum extraction raffinate from acidic leaching solution of Ni-Mo ores were treated by polyferric sulfate (PFS). The effects of dosage of hydrogen peroxide and PFS, stirring time and pH value on concentration of Zn2 , Pb2 , Ni2 and COD in raffinate were investigated. The results show that COD concentration can be reduced to 500 mg/L below with removal rate of 89%, and heavy metal ions meet the integrated wastewater discharge standard of GB 8978-1996 under the optimum conditions including dosage of hydrogen peroxide of 20 mL/L, PFS dosage of 60 mg/L, stirring time of 90 min and pH value of 11.0. |
