Abstract:
Vanadium was extracted from vanadium-bearing alkaline solution with carbonate type quaternary ammonium salt as extractant. The effects of concentration of extractant and modifying agent, temperature, time, O/A and pH value on vanadium extracting rate were investigated. The results show that vanadium extraction mechanism from alkaline solution by carbonate-type N263 is negative ion exchange. The optimum extraction conditions include temperature of 20~40 ℃, time of 1 min, and O/A=1/2. The optimum concentration of N263 is 0.091 9 mol/L only with extraction rate and phase splitting time into consideration.
