Abstract:
Gold was recovered from one copper-bearing and arsenic-bearing refractory gold ore by direct-cyaniding, flotation-cyaniding and iodide process, respectively. The effects of stirring intensity, leaching time and slurry temperature on gold leaching rate by iodide process were investigated. The results show that directly cyaniding leaching rate of gold and copper is 82% and 40% respectively. The flotation concentrate with Cu/Au grade of 4.69%/36.9 g/t and Cu/Au recovery of 62.35%/57.41% was obtained by bulk flotation. The flotation tailings were cyaniding leached with gold recovery of 65.96%. The leaching rate of gold is 85.3% and leaching rate of copper is 1% below in iodide process. The optimum experimental conditions for iodide process include stirring intensity of 400 r/min, leaching time of 2 h and slurry temperature of 298 K.
