Abstract:
Al-Mn alloy was used as reductant to produce Nb-Fe alloy from niobium enriched high titanium slag. Nb-Fe alloy with Nb grade of 15% above, Nb recovery of 86% above, and Nb/P ratio of 100 above was prepared under the conditions including temperature of 1 500 ℃, dosing basicity of 1.0, and holding time of 3~4 min. This technology is feasible to produce Nb-Fe alloy from niobium enriched high titanium slag by Al-Mn alloy reduction.
