| Abstract: |
| One-step reduction process to prepare tungsten powders with ammonium paratungstate as raw material by subdivision control of reducing atmosphere was studied. The effects of particle size of ammonium paratungstate, reducing atmosphere, temperature, time and raw materials load on particle size and morphology of tungsten powders were investigated. The results show that the optimum process parameters include raw materials load of 50 g, hydrogen flow of 32 L/h, heating rate of 10 ℃/min, holding at 500 ℃ of 20 min, holding at 900 ℃ of 1.5 h, and air cooling to 100 ℃. The yield rate of tungsten powder is 98.5% above. One-step reduction process has the advantages of controllable product size and low production cost. |
