| Abstract: |
| The innovative series process used in Shanxi Branch of Chalco applied alkali supplement process combining of raw liquor and digestion slurry of Bayer Process. High content of sodium carbonate in raw liquor sintering exerted a series of adverse effects on system and severely restricted application of new technique. By experiment in laboratory, digestion and settlement of low-carbon sodium sintering clinker were systematically investigated. The optimum technological conditions were determined. Industrial test and trial production were conducted. The results show that the concentration of sodium carbonate in raw liquor sintering drops to 5.97 g/L below. Indexes of digestion and settlement process are good with stable operation. |
