Abstract:
Antimony in zinc column leached solution from zinc oxide ore in NH3-NH4Cl-H2O system was removed by hydrocolloids coprecipitation method. The results show that concentration of antimony is reduced from 7.4 mg/L to 0.3 mg/L with antimony removal rate of 95% under the conditions including dosage of ferrous chloride of 2 g/L, dosage of hydrogen peroxide of 1.2 mL/L, and stirring time of 40 min at room temperature. The antimony removal solution can meet requirement of zinc electrowinning.
