Abstract:
      Internal magnetic field intensity of aluminum electrolytic cell increased significantly with enlarging of its size. Violent fluctuation of electrolyte and aluminum melt causes obvious vibration and swing of electrolyzer, and affects electrolysis efficiency and stable production. With plant practice of 500 kA aluminum electrolytic cell, causes of vibration and swing are analyzed and conventional solutions are adopted.
