Abstract:
      The development of tin bronze standard sample was introduced including design of composition, confirmation of casting conditions, standard procedure for production, coarse and fine tests of homogeneity with data analysis, determination of standard values and standard deviation. The results show that the optimum conditions to produce tin bronze standard sample include melting sample in 1 150 ℃, inlet 0.2 m3/kg argon gas, stirring with 100 r/min for 1 min and setting for 30 min. These samples meet the requirement of standard of GB/T15000 and YS/T409-1998 and have been ratified as national reference materials by National Technical Commission on Reference Materials.
