| Abstract: |
| Ni-Co-Al2O3 nanocomposite coating was prepared by electro-deposition. The hardness was determined by micro-hardness tester. The effects of current density, concentration of nano-Al2O3 particle, and temperature and pH value of plating solution on hardness of coating were investigated. The microstructure and corrosion resistance of the coating with the highest hardness value were investigated by SEM and electrochemical testing. The results indicate that nano-Al2O3 particles distribute in coating, grain of composite coating is further refined and performance of corrosion resistance is obviously improved. |
