Abstract:
      Zijinshan low-grade copper ore was simulation tested by biological heap leaching. The results show that copper leaching rate is 80% above under the optimum conditions including total iron concentration of initial spray solution of 4.0 g/L, particle size of -10 mm, and leaching duration of 181 days. Key focus should be paid on adjusting pH value of spray solution with sodium hydroxide to remove iron and inhibiting leaching of iron by different spray process for biological heap leaching of low-grade copper ore.
