Abstract:
Removal behaviour of lead oxide and lead silicate at the temperature range of 950~1 100 ℃ was investigated to simulate high temperature chlorination-reduction roasting process of pyrite cinder. The results show that lead oxide and lead silicate can be removed effectively during reduction. It is easier to remove lead oxide than to remove lead silicate. In addition, reducing atmosphere is important to remove lead during reduction, in that strong reducing atmosphere is in favor of lead removal in pyrite cinder.
