Abstract:
Rare metals bearing slag was leached by different methods. The effects of leaching parameters on leaching rates of alumina, silica and calcium oxide were investigated. The results show that the grades of rare earth, niobium and titanium rose to 8.62%, 4.09% and 25.06%, respectively by dilute acid leaching. The grades of rare earth, niobium and titanium rose to 15.40%, 9.97% and 33.86%, respectively, with recovery of 94.11%, 94.27% and 80.52%, respectively by sodium carbonate roasting of slag, water leaching and acid leaching.
