Abstract:
      Ni-Co-Al2O3 composite coatings were prepared by ultrasonic electro-deposition on copper surface. The mechanism of ultrasonic effect on property of Ni-Co-Al2O3 coatings was discussed. The results show that ultrasonic improves depositing rate, hardness and corrosion resistance of coatings under a proper ultrasonic power via cavitation effect and jet effect. Ultrasonic fails to improve coating’ property when ultrasonic power is too high.
