Abstract:
BCR sequential extraction was employed to analyze speciation of lead in soil. Leaching behavior of lead in soil was investigated by static and dynamic leaching tests. The effect of activated carbon adsorbing Pb in soils was explored by leaching toxicity analysis. The results show that exchangeable Pb may convert into reducible and oxidizable fractions while addition of activated carbon effectively reduces leachability of Pb in relative unstable fractions. In addition, the properties of activated carbon and pH values of leachant are important to control leaching of Pb in soil. The effect of leaching agents of acetic acid on leaching concentration of Pb is more appreciable than that of sulfuric acid.
