| Abstract: |
| Based on model of mechanical activation alkali boiling reactor for tungsten ore, the reactor model was established by adopting geometric similarity amplification method and analyzed by numerical simulation with Fluent software. The results show that amplified model tends to produce flow “dead zones” on both sides at the top of reactor, which is not conducive to solid-liquid mixture. Flow “dead zones” disappears following optimization of reactor’s structure and impeller installation. The mixing characteristics evaluation system was established with adjustment of stirring speed and volume of reactor, and comparative analysis on mixing characteristic of fluid and stirring power of reactor. The results show that optimized reactor can shorten mixing time and improve mixing efficiency. |
