Abstract:
Atmospheric pressure leaching for copper-bearing smelting slag was studied. The effects of ratio of liquid to solid, acid dosage, temperature and reaction time on copper and nickel leaching rates were investigated. The results show that leaching ratio of copper, nickel and iron is 95.65%, 7.63%, and 39.84% respectively under the optimum conditions including ratio of liquid to solid of 8︰1, temperature of 85 ℃, acid dosage of 120 g/L, and reaction time of 6 h.
