| Abstract: |
| Gold leaching rate of copper-bearing gold ore by cyanide leaching was only 88.21% due to dissolution of copper minerals, whose leaching rate is about 19%. In order to reduce effect of dissolution of copper minerals on cyanidation leaching, a novel technology to weaken copper minerals dissolution by “carefully controlling concentrations of dissociative cyanide ions” was put forward. Concentrations of dissociative cyanide ions were controlled by fractional adding of sodium cyanide. Industry application results show that copper leaching rate drops to 1.93% and gold leaching rate significantly rises to 93.40% without a big change of original technological process. |
