Abstract:
Two stages leaching method combining leaching processes of manganese oxide and manganese carbonate was proposed. The effects of H2SO4 concentration, glucose dosage, reaction temperature and time, and ratio of liquid to solid on Mn leaching rate and residual acid were investigated. The results show that Mn leaching rate is 93.7% in reduction leaching stage under the conditions including mass ratio of glucose to manganese oxide ore of 6.33%, H2SO4 concentration of 4.37 mol/L, ratio of liquid to solid of 1.5, reaction temperature of 90 ℃, and leaching time of 3 h. Mn leaching rate is 96.1% and concentration of residual acid drops to 9.4 g/L after leaching of 3 h at 90 ℃ by adding manganese carbonate ore with 1.5 times of manganese oxide ore and residual anolyte with ratio of liquid to solid of 6.
