Abstract:
Vanadium pentoxide was extracted from stone coal by sulfation microwave roasting and water leaching. The effects of sulfuric acid dosage, microwave power, particle size, microwave roasting temperature and time, dosage of additive NaF, water leaching time, ratio of liquid to solid, and water leaching temperature on leaching rate of vanadium, iron, and aluminum were investigated. The results show that vanadium pentoxide leaching rate is 90% above under the optimum conditions including sulfuric acid dosage of 30%, microwave power of 700 W, particle size of 0.08 mm, microwave roasting temperature of 200 ℃, microwave roasting time of 1 h, dosage of NaF of 3%, ratio of liquid to solid of 3︰1, and water leaching temperature and time of 90 ℃ and 1 h respectively.
