| Abstract: |
| The proportion distribution of different stages during titanium sponge reduction production by magnesiothermic reduction was analyzed. The effects of dosage of condensate magnesium and magnesium ingot, TiCl4 charging, high temperature constant time, and equipment failure on period of reduction process were investigated. The results show that period of reduction process is extended with increasing dosage of condensate magnesium and magnesium ingot. Period of reduction process can be shortened remarkably by lowering equipments failure rate and stabilizing high temperature constant time and TiCl4 charging. |
