Abstract:
Online monitoring of individual anode rod current of aluminum reduction was achieved by installing three Hall sensors arranged at an angle of 45 degrees with anode rod arrangement adopting non-contacting measurement scheme. On this basis, magnetic shielding ring was applied to shield interference magnetic field to improve current measurement accuracy of individual anode rod, and mathematical expressions were provided. Comparison between measuring current derived from optical transformer and that from sensors shows that current measurement error of anode rod is almost within ±3% and the maximum error is ±4.5%.
