Abstract:
Fluosilicic acid and silicofluoride were removed from chloride leaching solution of lead anode slime by sodium chloride. The effects of sodium chloride dosage, reaction time, precipitation time and temperature on fluorine removal rate were investigated. Fluoride concentration is reduced to 2.43 g/L below with fluorine removal rate of 87.7% under the optimum conditions. Crystallization does not occur in defluorination solution during distillation process as to avoid blockage of distillation pipe. Distillate with fluoride concentration of 3 g/L meets the requirement of recycling for leaching.
