Abstract:
      Antimony was electrodeposited from sodium sulphide alkaline leaching solution of antimony-bearing gold concentrates by electrochemical process. Electrodeposition parameters were optimized and trend of gold was investigated. The results show that gold deposits on cathode board together with antimony under the conditions including electrodeposition temperature of 50 ℃ , and current density of 250 A/m2. Purity of cathode antimony is 97.12% with gold content of 22 g/t. Quality of cathode antimony can be effectively improved by adding polyethylene glycol and reducing current density.
