Abstract:
One self-made organic amine synergistic extraction system was used to extract nickel from simulated laterite leaching solution. The effects of proportion of components, molar concentration of TBP, extractant concentration, extraction time, and extraction temperature on nickel extraction rate, removal ratio of impurities, and phase separation time of extraction and striping were investigated. The results show that addition of TBP can greatly shorten stripping phase separation time with extraction capacity of nickel dropping slightly and has little impact on removal ratio of impurities and extraction phase separation time. The extraction capacity of nickel is 6.9 g/L with molar ratio of amine︰synergistic reagent︰TBP=0.9 mol/L︰0.45 mol/L︰0.9 mol/L. Increasing extraction temperature facilitates shortening of extraction phase separation time but causes a slight drop of extraction ratio of nickel. Five counter-current extraction ratio of nickel is 98% above with O/A=1/2 at 30 ℃ for 20 min.
