Abstract:
Indium was extracted from indium-bearing zinc oxide flue dust by neutral leaching, acidic leaching, and solvent extraction. The effects of leaching temperature and time, H2SO4 concentration, and ratio of liquid to solid on leaching, and effects of extraction solvent concentration, volume phase ratio and initial acid concentration on indium extraction rate were investigated. The results show that indium acidic leaching rate is 91.6% after zinc removal by neutral leaching, and indium extraction rate is 90% above.
