Abstract:
Lithium, rubidium and cesium were extracted from lepidolite by sulfate process. The results show that leaching rate of lithium, rubidium and cesium is 92.2%, 61.5%, 63.8% respectively when lepidolite was mixed with 20% potassium sulfate, 10% calcium sulfate and 15% barium sulfate, roasted at 900 ℃ for one hour, and leached with dilute acid. Zero-grade lithium carbonate can be obtained from purified lixivium, and rubidium and cesium can be recovered from mother liquor of lithium precipitation.
