| Abstract: |
| Industrial test on heap leaching of low grade copper ore was conducted with acid mine drainage (AMD) as leaching agent. The effects of copper ore character, spray operation, bacterial community structure on leaching rates of copper and iron were investigated. The results show that heap leaching rate of copper and iron is 65.9% and 5.7% respectively after 210 days spraying with AMD. It is feasible to recover copper from low grade secondary copper sulfide ore with heap leaching. |
