Abstract:
Separation of tin and antimony from Pb-Sn-Sb smelting slag was investigated by alkalinity leaching method. The results show that tin leaching rate is 85% above and antimony leaching rate is almost zero under the optimum conditions including initial concentration of NaOH of 120~150 g/L, ratio of liquid to solid of 2︰1, temperature of 40 ℃, dosage of oxidizing agent of 3%~5% of raw materials, and leaching duration of 2 h. Pb-Sb enriched leaching residue is returned to Pb-Sb alloy smelting process. Sodium stannate with 40.7% Sn-containing is recrystallized from Pb-Sb leaching lixivium to realize recovery of tin.
