Abstract:
Relationships between kinetics of leaching of REEs from RE-associated phosphate ore and temperature, time, acid concentration and granularity were investigated by phosphoric acid method. The results show that increasing of temperature, time and acid concentration, and reduction of granularity can accelerate leaching of REEs. Leaching process of REEs, close to elementary reaction, is controlled by interfacial chemical reaction with apparent activation energy of 44.6 kJ/mol and apparent reaction order of 0.993. Kinetics mathematical model of leaching of REES relating to temperature, acid concentration and granularity is established by statistic analysis based on shrinking core model.
