Abstract:
Waste mobile phone circuit boards were pretreated by nitric acid oxidation and bioleaching respectively. Gold was extracted from pretreated samples in thiourea system, in which thiourea concentration is 12 g/L, Fe2(SO4)3 mass fraction is 0.3%, pH value of solution is 1.5, and temperature is 30 ℃. Gold leaching rate, metal impurities removal rate, and environmental impact were taken into consideration to evaluate two pretreatment processes. The results show that nitric oxide pretreatment has more advantages in terms of metal cleaning efficiency while bioleaching pretreatment outperforms in production cost and environmental impact.
