Abstract:
Cobalt-sulfur concentrates bearing with high cobalt, low sulfur and considerable amount of copper were roasted and leached. The effects of roasting temperature, roasting time, additive dosage, leaching time, leaching temperature and ratio of liquid to solid on leaching of copper and cobalt were investigated. The results show that leaching rate of Co and Cu is 91% and 90% respectively when concentrates are heated to 620 ℃ with heating rate of 2.7 ℃/min and roasted for 3 h, and calcine is leached at 80 ℃ for 2 h by 30 g/L sulfuric acid with slurry concentration of 33%.
