Abstract:
Vanadium was extracted from acid reduction leaching solution of waste vanadium catalyst in P204 TBP sulfonated kerosene system. The effects of phase ratio (O/A), P204 concentration and initial pH value of extraction solution on vanadium extraction were investigated. The results show that vanadium extraction rate is 98.73% under the optimum conditions including extraction system of 20%P204 10%TBP 70% sulfonated kerosene, O/A=2, initial pH value of feeding solution of 2.2, and extracting duration of 5 min. Vanadium stripping rate is 89.91% with 1.5 mol/L sulfuric acid as stripping agent for 6 min. The final product of V2O5 could meet standard of GB 3283-1987 Metallurgical Grade 99 V2O5.
