| Abstract: |
| High-purity metal tin was prepared from high-antimony-bearing crude tin by electrolysis. The first electrolysis was aimed to separate Sb and Sn in HCl-SnCl2 electrolyte. Cathode tin from first electrolysis was treated in the second electrolytic process in H2SO4-SnSO4 solution to produce 5N high-purity tin under strictly controlled conditions. |
