| Abstract: |
| Standard Gibbs free energy ΔGθ of sulfur in molten salt chlorination process was calculated by HSC soft. The effects of sulfur content in petroleum coke on grinding, molten salt chlorination process, rough titanium tetrachloride quality and impurity removal were investigated. The results show that the main reaction products in molten salt chlorination system are SO2, COS, SO2Cl2 and SOCl2, which will not affect the continuous and stable operation of molten salt chlorination process, but sulfur content in molten salt, dust slag, tail gas and rough titanium tetrachloride rises. It is difficult to remove sulfur during refining process, and the optimual sulfur content in petroleum coke is 0.45% below. |
