| Abstract: |
| High-sulfur bauxite bearing 1.61% S was desulfured by roasting in self-made dispersion state roasting furnace. Effects of roasting time and temperature on desulfurization efficiency were investigated, and desulfurization mechanism was discussed. The results show that desulfurization efficiency is 76.98% with 0.07% sulfur residue in roasted bauxite after dispersion roasting at 650 ℃ for 120 s. Higher temperature or longer time have few effects on improvement of desulfurization efficiency. |
