Abstract:
Ti-bearing electroslag was hydrothermal recrystallized in FeSO4-Fe2(SO4)3-H2SO4 solution and then separated by gravity separation. Effects of concentration of FeSO4 and Fe2(SO4)3, pH, temperature of hydrothermal reaction, and holding time on TiO2 content in ilmenite concentrates were investigated. The results show that TiO2 content in ilmenite concentrates rises from 41.92% to 49.74% under the optimum conditions including concentration of FeSO4 of 0.60 mol/L, concentration of Fe2(SO4)3 of 0.14 mol/L, pH value of 2, temperature of hydrothermal reaction of 150 ℃, and holding time of 3.5 h.
